Hoian Holiday Package

Day 1 – Danang Arrival – Transfer to Hoian.

Upon your arrival in Danang International Airport, your guide and driver will meet you at the airport and take you on a short drive to the sleepy riverside town, Hoian. Stop on the way to visit the Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son) in Danang, discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the Marble Mountain. Arrive in Hoian, a bustling former trading port between 16th and 18th century. Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2 – Hoian Walking Tour

After breakfast, begin your walking tour through the breezy winding streets, lined with honey-yellow buildings of the ancient town. The tour includes stops at some major landmarks of Hoian. Visit Chua Ong Pagoda, then pop up to the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. Around the town, you will see numerous art galleries and tailor shops, you can even get some made-to-order clothes if you like. After lunch at a local restaurant, take a boat trip on Thu Bon river to visit one of traditional craft villages such as: Kim Bong wooden carving village, Thanh Ha pottery village. Late afternoon, you will drive you back to your hotel in Hoian.

Day 3 – Hoian Eco Tour.

Today you embark on a family run “Farming and Fishing life tour”. Explore Hoian’s surrounding farmland and countryside then try your hand at local fishing techniques as you learn to paddle a strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat through narrow waterways. Back on-board and enjoy lunch and cold beer or soft drink. Return to Hoian in the afternoon. Rest of the day will be spent on your own way.

Day 4 – Hoian free at leisure

Today you are free to wander around the ancient town or go shopping.
Tips: Shopping, Dining & Swimming in Hoian
– Hoian’s Riverside Market is lined with handicraft stalls that are connected by neon lanterns. Pick up a cheap, custom-made suit from local tailors, or beat feet for the cloth vendors to load up on beautiful swaths of silk. Here’s a tip: Practice your smile and your bargaining skills, as these folks love a good haggle.
– Curbside food stalls in Hoian offer authentic spots to sample local delicacies, like “Pho”, “Cha ca” and “Banh Xeo”. Make a reservation and dine at one of the swanky riverside eateries for freshly caught seafood barbecued to perfection
– YUM! You can wash your meal down with an ice cold beer or rice wine at one of the chill out lounges in the ancient town. The Vietnamese also love coffee, particularly the milky, iced kind, so be sure to indulge whenever you need a little caffeine jolt.
– Swim on An Bang Beach which is just four kilometres from Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage centre – at present there’s a wonderful stretch of fine sand and an enormous horizon. It is the perfect complement to the sightseeing and tourist bustle of town.

Day 5 – Hoian – Danang – Departure

After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Danang International Airport for the departure flight.
